Salt Lake City Bees opening night!

And lest you need yet another example of what kind of lives interns lead, ya'll should just know that I slept through AN EARTHQUAKE while I was post-call yesterday. I woke up this morning and saw that my mom called me while I was driving to work. In her voice mail she said, "I heard ya'll had a rumbling last night!" I was like what? A thunderstorm? I don't remember a thunderstorm.

Then I got to work and started my rounds and one of my patients told me about a 4.9 earthquake in Randolph, UT (wherever that is) yesterday around 5:30PM. My medical students were both like yeah! I felt it, it was scary! And I was like what? Where was I? Oh yeah, completely zonked.

What a huge crowd at the Bees game!

While I was reading your comment, I thought you were about to write that you slept through the Bees game. That would be sad! But what really is sad is that you slept through an earthquake instead!

Life of an exhausted intern! But hey, in one more month fresh new medical graduates will be interns and you a seasoned resident!
