Grilled cheese and soup has become Holland and my go-to dinner. We eat it at least once or twice a week. If you get special bread from Great Harvest and special cheese from Liberty Height Fresh (a really fun gourmet grcery about 100 yards from my house), it really kind of jazzes things up.

I think I should come visit just to clean up for you so you could have peace of mind. I don't think your duplex is in horrible shape - I have seen much worst on shows such as "Clean Sweep."
Interesting reading, Holland! Looks like when you are suppose to be relaxing you have to catch on work-related reading. Poor interns!
